Technology and Data Protection Associate - New opportunity for a Solicitor to join our Technology team.

Responsibilities:

  • Advising on technology-related and data protection matters as part of a Commercial Technology team in a large technology practice
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts for international clients in the IT, telecoms, IP, financial services, life sciences, energy, and e-commerce sectors
  • Advising international clients in relation to issues such as:
  • Commercial contracts
  • Data protection
  • Cyber Security
  • Licensing
  • Systems Implementation and Development
  • Outsourcing and cloud services
  • e-Commerce
  • Intellectual property

The Person:

  • You are a qualified solicitor/lawyer
  • You have 2-4 years PQE gained in a large or medium-sized firm
  • You have excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
  • You have proven experience of managing files and interacting directly with clients
  • You are confident in taking responsibility for work requirements and client needs
  • You have proven ability to deliver high quality work outputs
  • You have a flexible approach to work
  • You have the ability to work alone and as part of a team, be pragmatic and to stay calm under pressure
  • You have the ability to prioritise tasks and to meet deadlines
