William Fry is looking for a dynamic and creative individual who has experience in internal communications with a passion for people and business. This role is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience and develop their career within a dynamic BD & Marketing team.

The successful candidate will support the development of the firm's internal communications strategy and working together with teams across the company to ensure successful execution.

The successful candidate will play a key role in building out William Fry's internal communications strategy, providing strategic communications advice and support to Senior Management and the wider business.

The Role

In this role you will be responsible for

  • Working with internal departments to develop a cohesive, co-ordinated and engaging communications plan for across the firm.
  • Managing the firm's internal communications calendar and schedules, writing, designing, editing, reviewing, and publishing internal communications.
  • Building strong relationships across the business to advise and recommend on appropriate communications channels to drive internal engagements
  • Developing messaging and deliverables in support of the communications needs of the firm
  • Supporting the creation and implementation of new tools to support our internal communications activities and lead in the deployment of an internal digital workplace / information portal
  • Managing firm award calendar and submissions
  • Supporting any other marketing / communications-related duties that may arise.

The Person

  • You have strong knowledge of developing and leading internal communications and employee engagement strategies and plans
  • You have experience in a similar communication role (internal or external)
  • You have knowledge of internal communications trends and best practice
  • You have experience in SharePoint and / or other internal communications platforms desirable but not essential
  • You have prior management of complex projects and experience in advising and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • You have an understanding of how to communicate effectively and set up governance structures with the key stakeholders (including senior management and the Partnership) and tracking of appropriate key performance indicators
  • You have excellent written and verbal English communication skills with and an ability to write engaging messages, adapting your tone of voice to topics, topic owners and target audiences
  • You are highly motivated creative, detail orientated self-starter who is results driven with strong commercial & market awareness
  • You have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high quality standards.
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and ability to commit to tight deadlines.
  • You have excellent organisational and timekeeping skills
  • You have proven ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
  • You have a flexible approach to work and high degree of initiative
  • You have an excellent ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise appropriately
