Role Profile

Our pensions team advise trustees, employers, consultants and insurers on all aspects of pensions law, from day-to-day rule interpretation and governance queries, to innovative restructurings, funding issues and M&A transactions.

We are currently seeking to hire a Pensions Solicitor for a maternity cover contract for our highly-rated team.

Our clients include trustees, private and publicly held companies, consultancies and insurers and the role will offer the opportunity to work on:

  • pension aspects of large corporate transactions and restructurings
  • pension advisory work with some of the largest pension funds in Ireland
  • working with consultants and insurers on developing new pension products
  • reviewing commercial contracts in a pension context
  • collaborating with our insurance and funds teams on investment agreements

 

Qualifications, skills and experience

Applicants should be qualified Solicitors or Barristers and have:

  • pension experience in a large legal practice or similar environment
  • excellent drafting skills, attention to detail
  • commercial awareness
  • strong academic background
  • ability to communicate clearly, orally and in writing
  • experience managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines efficiently
  • desire to work as part of a team
