Role: Business Analyst - Two year fixed term contract

Role Profile

The role of the Business Analyst who will sit within the Finance function at William Fry and report directly to the Finance Manager will be primarily focused on pre-implementation preparations to change the Firm’s Practice Management System (PMS) and later to participate as part of the Implementation Project Team.  This is a two year fixed term contract


Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, map and document current processes using Visio (or other comparable software) to include processes in relation to Billing, Payments, Lodgements, General Ledger Accounting, Records Management etc.
  • Design, map and document various integrations to the Firm’s current PMS (Chrome River, iManage, IntApp etc.) which are intended for integration with the new PMS.
  • Consolidation of training guides.
  • Completion of data cleansing entries in existing PMS in preparation for migration process.
  • Regular reporting to the Finance Manager and PMS Implementation Project Team.


Skills, Experience & Key Requirements

  • Proficient in advanced Microsoft packages – such as Power BI
  • Basic SQL capabilities
  • Report writing using packages such as Crystal Reports
  • Bright, hard-working and ambitious
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Working to strict deadlines
