Employment and Benefits Solicitor

Role

Our Employment & Benefits lawyers advise on employment law and on the specialist areas of pensions, corporate immigration and employee incentives. We are currently seeking to hire an additional Solicitor to join this highly-rated team.

The position will focus on employment issues in commercial transactions and employment litigation.   Our clients include both private and publicly held companies and the role will offer the opportunity to work on: 

  • employment legal aspects of corporate transactions and restructurings
  • TUPE law
  • employment claims before the Workplace Relations Commission, the Labour Court and the Civil Courts
  • corporate Immigration
  • executive employment contracts and severance agreements
  • employment issues for financially regulated companies

 Applicants should be qualified Solicitors and have: 

  • an excellent academic background
  • region two/three years' experience in employment law work; exposure to corporate transactions would be advantageous
  • a high level of commercial awareness
  • very strong technical and drafting ability
  • excellent communication and organisational skills
  • a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure that deadlines are consistently met
  • an ability to work as part of a team and show a high level of initiative
